Bethany Cass
Bethany Cass is always up for an adventure so it was no surprise that she found her way to the SUP YO Adventures community and is excited to be leading the Machu Picchu trip in August as well as other day hikes in the White Mountains and wilderness retreats in New England. Bethany lives in Topsfield, MA with her husband, yellow lab and three children (who are now in and out of college). She discovered her love for traveling while studying abroad in London, England during her junior year at Bucknell University and was able to continue this passion traveling globally during her career as a consulting actuary with Milliman and taking her family on adventure vacations throughout the U.S.
Bethany approaches life with curiosity, enthusiasm and optimism and aims to provide a safe and encouraging space for the personal growth that naturally arises when we have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in nature and challenge ourselves both physically and mentally. She recently embarked on her own personal journey during COVID to reassess how she was caring for her body, mind and spirit. This led her to complete her 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 and she is currently enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Training program with the goal to help others live their happiest, healthiest life. When not spending time with family, she is typically off doing yoga, training for her next cycling event or triathlon, or in the White Mountains in her pursuit of completing all the 48 NH 4000 footers.
Bethany loves the thrill of a new adventure and is excited to join the SUP YO Adventures staff and share in these experiences with other outdoor enthusiasts!
