Lydia Buckley
Lydia Buckley is a francophile who enjoys roller skating, SplasHIIT, and play time with her dogs. Studying French, linguistics and pedagogy at Wellesley College and Kansas State University have fostered in Lydia a love of teaching.
Growing up on Cape Cod, the water has always been a source of joy and peace in her life. Lydia started learning Kempo Karate as a teenager and then later discovered yoga as a young adult.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Lydia felt called to rediscover and broaden her personal practice of yoga, mindfulness and meditation. She has since made yoga a part of her daily self-care practice. Lydia completed her 200-hour CYT and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator training in March 2023 through Breathe for Change.
This spring, Lydia founded a yoga club for her high school community, in the hopes of making yoga more accessible to more people.
