SUP YO was founded by Jana Olenio, yoga instructor, travel agent and NH native, and was created from pure passion for nature and outdoor adventure. SUP YO was originally formed in 2011 as a paddleboard yoga company that over time evolved into many other outdoor adventure offerings from day hikes to weeklong worldwide adventure trips.

Sara O'Reilly

Sara has always had a passion for being outdoors. Growing up, camping was a family favorite, up in the lakes of Maine. Whether it be hiking, snowboarding, kayaking or paddling, it does not matter the adventure, for Sara it is all about connecting with nature.

Yoga has always been a big part of Sara’s life. Every morning she makes it a “must do” and practices at least 10 minutes on the mat. She believes this is such a great way to ground yourself and be ready for whatever the day may bring. In 2018, Sara decided to take her love for yoga and get certified as a 200 hour RYT. This yoga journey has led her to take her teaching practice outside and bring yoga and the outdoors together.

In summer of 2019, she was very fortunate to meet Jana, the owner of SUP YO, and started as an administrative assistant for SUP YO. In the spring of 2020, she became certified to teach SUP Yoga with SUP YO! This has allowed her to teach on the lake that she lives on in Worcester MA. Not only is SUP Yoga offered at this location, there are also sunset paddles, full moon paddles and ice cream paddles!

In the summer of 2020 Sara also received her Wilderness First Aid Training which has allowed her to be able to lead Yoga Hike in the Whites. These are such great hikes which Sara enjoys a lot. They are another great way to connect with nature, and like minded people!

In addition to teaching yoga and leading hikes, Sara also owns her own business, SunnySide Upcycled. She creates handmade items such as; jewelry, upcycled clothing, and home decor. As well she does interior design work part time as an independent contractor.
