Winter Hikes in the Whites
Winter Hikes in the White Mountains
Winter is coming! For some this may mean hibernation. But for the adventurous souls, it means piling on a few more layers and getting out there to explore and play. In New England the fun doesn’t stop when the temperatures drop – it’s just getting started! But what do you do if you’re not a skier or snowboarder? Cold temps and snow mean more caution and more prep, but hiking in the winter is FUN and worth it, not to mention peaceful and easier on the joints. This year we are offering some hiking options for a great winter adventure in the whites. Never hiked in the winter? We have some great winter hikes planned in the White Mountains… get outside and join us!
Be guided through the pristine forests of the Mount Washington Valley during the winter season with a White Mountain National Forest Guide. Honestly, thank all of you for being such wonderful people and having patience with Gavin and I. I’m sad I couldn’t join you today on Garfield but sooo happy we were able to join Jana and the other group on the other trail with yoga today. My heart was so full upon seeing Gavin’s face of awe & wonder when we reached the summit today. My heart sang, and Jana your words to him at that moment were perfect: “The harder you work the greater the reward and nothing good in life comes easy.” Thank you!

I loved celebrating my birthday with you hearty & kind outdoor people, my kinda people!
Thanks to Leslie, Mark, Sara & Jana for taking great care of us, pushing me and and getting great people together. I made new memories and friends this weekend.
This was the toughest hike I did and am looking forward to so many more.
Hiking in winter is special because it is peaceful, easier on your joints and with all the snow covered white surrounding you it can feel like a fairy tale at times. The fear of hiking alone in winter is taken care of with SUP YO since you will be joining other like minded people. I highly recommend a winter experience with SUP YO.
There is nothing quite like a winter hike. Highly recommended!
